The aftermath of explosion: the only building which stood behind the destruction

World War II (1939–1945), when Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi party, Germany, invaded Poland in September 1939, which drove Britain and France to state war on Germany that leads to the outset of the war. With the dream of ruling the world, Hitler rearmed his nation and signed treaties with Japan and Italy but it numbered a lot of lives, devastated a large infrastructure around the globe, and led to the emergence of economic problems such as unemployment, bleak growth, divide the globe into many new countries and shuddered the mental health with the terrifying nuclear power. It all came to an end when US discussed the ongoing war and peace settlement around the world, which led to the explosion of first atomic bomb (on Hiroshima and Nagasaki) as a less costly option.

The US received a letter from Albert Einstein, which warned the US government around the development of the nuclear bomb by Nazi Germans. With this awareness, the US started the scientific research and testing around nuclear bomb development, created a new scientific laboratory for full-fledged implementation of the plan under the ambit of “The Manhattan Project”, which was a codename for this research.

After warning Japan and their negligence, on August 6, 1945, US dropped a bomb named “Little Boy” on the Japanese city Hiroshima at 8:15 am, (the time when almost every worker was at manufacturing unit and the children had already left for the school), killing over 100,000 people around the city (and left hundreds of them behind to get affected by the radiations and reactions of blast). The bomb devastated around 92% of the infrastructure of the city. After three days of this large explosion, a bomb named “Fat Man” was dropped at Nagasaki, another city of Japan at 11 am which killed over 50,000 people and injured/disabled many others. The bomb demolished around 25% of the area of Nagasaki. Several people were left to feel the aftermath of the explosion with “black rain” which was formed of dust and smoke. A lot many survived during this period and they are known as Hibakushas survivors, these people have lived the most dangerous era of their time.

The two cities in Japan — Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, were almost destroyed during world war II. Despite any hatred of the US towards Japan and its those two cities, they took those harsh steps towards Japan just to stop them from creating incessant unease and damage around the world. They chose these two cities with all the strategic planning of destroying their military production and the ability to fight the war. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the largest cities in Japan. Hiroshima was the headquarters of military forces. The city was the main shipping point for the troops and ammunition supplies at that time. The destruction was understood by Tokyo in Japan and slowly surrendered in favor of US which at the end led a full stop on World War II.

It’s been 75 years to this huge destruction and the impact that continued until many years. But thankfully besides so many close wars and notorious activities around the globe, the nuclear bombs were never used to date following the destruction in Nagasaki. The destructed areas due to war and explosions have already reached the heights in terms of infrastructural development and advanced technology. Also, with the objective of Peace and Creativity, today the most affected cities (Hiroshima and Nagasaki) are like other prosperous cities that embrace several tourists and serves to the localities of the city.
